The Repair module is designed to handle different types of orders to ease the handling of repair tasks. These orders are defined by your system administrator and could be for instance Repair and Service issue. The order type Repair is used for physical repairs of hearing instruments and other serial number controlled items. The order type Service issue is used for service tasks and repairs of items without a serial number.
In a busy hearing clinic, the repair tasks can be many and both external and internal. To keep track of the ongoing and closed repair tasks in the clinic, the Repair module in Auditbase gathers these tasks for easy handling. The main screen in the Repair module shows a list of ongoing and closed repair tasks, giving you an excellent overview of the repair situation.
The extended version is for internal repairs and with it each repair task is expanded with a workflow in which the technician can fill in a detailed description of the task to be conducted as well as elements and parts used to fulfill the task. The task will then automatically calculate the repair price and update stock, based on elements and parts used.
In the extended version, you control the repair tasks by changing the status of each task, which could be e.g. registered, assigned, invoicing or completed. Based on the status of the task, the repair task then generates postings for further invoicing in the invoicing module.
The list can be filtered and sorted in ways to give you the best overview of the repair tasks suited to your daily routine.
A Search function will find specific repair tasks by either keying in the repair task number directly or an HI serial number, fast and easy.
In the extended version, you can also see the ten most used items, which are defined in the Administration tool, so when using those items the details will be filled in automatically.
